ASPE American Society of
Plumbing Engineers

The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is the international organization for professionals skilled in the design, specification and inspection of plumbing systems. ASPE is dedicated to the advancement of the science of plumbing engineering, to the professional growth and advancement of its members and the health, welfare and safety of the public. The Society disseminates technical data and information, sponsors activities that facilitate interaction with fellow professionals, and, through research and education, expands the base of knowledge of the plumbing engineering industry. ASPE members are leaders in innovative plumbing design, effective materials and energy use, and the application of advanced techniques throughout the world.

AWWA American Water Works Association

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is an international nonprofit scientific and educational society dedicated to the improvement of drinking water quality and supply. AWWA is the authoritative resource for knowledge, information, and advocacy to improve the quality and supply of drinking water in North America and beyond.

CISPI Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute

The Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute (CISPI) was organized in 1949 by the leading American manufacturers of cast iron soil pipe and fittings. The Institute is dedicated to aiding and improving the plumbing industry. Through the preparation and distribution of technical reports, the organization seeks to advance interest in the manufacture, use and distribution of cast iron soil pipe and fittings, and through a program of research and the cooperative effort of soil pipe manufacturers, they strive to improve the industry's products, achieve standardization of cast iron soil pipe and fittings, and provide a continuous program of product testing, evaluation and development. Since the founding of the Institute, member firms have standardized soil pipe and fittings, and have introduced a number of new products.

IAPD International Association of Plastics Distributors

The International Association of Plastics Distributors, founded in 1956, is an international trade association comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacture of plastics materials. Represented are materials in semi-finished stock shapes, such as sheet, rod, tube, pipe, valves, fittings, film and related products. Members' materials are produced and distributed for a wide variety of engineering and high performance applications, in such industries as food processing and packaging, OEM parts and equipment, chemical processing, waste and water treatment, construction, MRO parts, agriculture, automotive, medical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, electronics, marine, signs and displays, and many more.

Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association

The Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association is a non-profit, research / technical trade organization representing all segments of the gasket-joint polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe industry. It was formed by a group of PVC pipe producers who, in 1971, recognized the potential of the product for buried water, sewage, drainage and irrigation systems. Realizing that the quality, performance, and value of gasket-joint PVC pipe and fittings would make it the product of choice for such projects, a group of industry leaders set out to find the best way to convey technical information and research about PVC Pipe and its advantages over other traditional piping materials.

NAHB National Association of Home Builders

NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large.

PHCC Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association

PHCC has been advocate for plumbing, heating and cooling contractors since 1883. As the oldest trade organization in the construction industry, approximately 3,700 members nationwide put their faith in the association's efforts to lobby local, state and federal government, provide forums for networking and educational programs, and to deliver the highest quality of products and services.

PPI Plastic Pipe Institute

Founded in 1950, The Plastics Pipe Institute Inc. (PPI) is the major trade association representing all segments of the plastics piping industry. PPI members share a common interest in broadening market opportunities that make effective use of plastics piping for water and gas distribution, sewer and wastewater, oil and gas production, industrial and mining uses, power and communications, duct and irrigation.

The Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating

The Canadian Institute of
Plumbing & Heating (L'Institut canadien de plomberie et de chauffage) is a not for profit trade association founded in Montreal in 1933. They are the Manufacturers, Wholesaler Distributors, Master Distributors, Manufacturers' Agents and allied companies who manufacture and distribute plumbing, hydronic heating, industrial, waterworks and other mechanical products. CIPH Wholesalers operate over 600 warehouses and showrooms across Canada. Over 10,000 Canadians are directly employed by CIPH members.

Mechanical Contractors
Association of Canada

Established in 1895, the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) has a mandate to coordinate and develop policies and programs which are national in nature, of common interest to the members in all of the Provincial Affiliate Associations, and which will enhance the productivity and profitability of mechanical contractors. MCA Canada is a federation of autonomous provincial associations, all working for the betterment and advancement of the trade and the mechanical contracting industry in Canada.
